A collection of Welcome Swallows from this morning. They're usually zipping about diving over the lake surface to collect insects, but this morning they were have a wee rest on the reeds.

While out on my inaugural Bird Count (for this years Great Aussie Bird Count), I found TEN (10) fresh Pacific Black Duck ducklings and an attentive mother-duck.

So of course, I had to take photos.

I stopped to count the frogs this morning, and there was an extremely tiny one (about 1cm long).

These two shots are taken at the same distance (approx 2.9m away) and cropped the same amount. The one on the left is the tiny tiny frog, and the right hand one is a regular sized Dwarf Tree Frog (approximately 3cm long).
