this has been one of my favorite lee perry productions for many decades, but it was only this month that i realized it's a remix of Gershwin's "Summertime"! they even go to the bridge at the end. sometimes it takes a while for obvious connections to be perceived! what a great vocal performance by Errol Walker and what an amazing mix by Lee Perry. In some ways, the lyrics are better than the original!

Oh yeah, the chap is still active to this day, recently releasing something of a '70s National Boards Of Canada short-film sonic doodles collection. So, y'know, can add BoC to the list of 'sounds like' to this guy's repertoire.
