The adult eagle caught a fish or small prey, the other (the juvenile) was swooping in and trying to steal it. Bald eagles are notorious for this—they’ll fight, chase, and harass each other for a meal rather than hunt their own. The adult eventually got the juvenile to fly off. The series of photos are sorta blurry but the excitement was real!
