We Don't Have Time For This, by Brianna Craft, is packaged like a YA romance, but it's mostly about what teenagers can do to fight the climate catastrophe. I got this recommendation from @susankayequinn 's SolarPunk book club, and I really enjoyed it.

5/5: This book is presented like a YA romance, but romance takes up very little of the book, because Isa and Darius really don't have time for it. Darius is so focused on the future that the life he is actually living only counts as a step on the path to that future, where he will have accrued all the credentials to get some power to be able to start changing the course of the climate catastrophe. Isa is already grappling with real consequences of the polycrisis, from the rain of wildfire ash to her grandmother's cancer.
