Like... it seems the options for world leaders is do you:

1. Work with the US... and likely have missiles and drone boars buzzing all over while your ships run the blockade

2. Talk to Iran like adults and promise not to help Israel assassinate anymore of their leaders right now. No need to run blockade.

So I imagine Trump's not going to like what German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius had to say about the request to send more ships:

"We did not start this war.

What does the world expect, what does Donald Trump expect from a handful or two handfuls of European frigates to achieve there in the Strait of Hormuz, which the powerful American Navy cannot manage alone?

It is not our war; we did not start it."

In other media appearances Abbas Araghchi confirms that multiple countries are negotiating directly with the Iranians to ensure their vessels are allowed through the blockade.

So far there are rumors that France and Italy may work directly with Iran.

The FM also notes that they are not actively blockading non-oil shipments and they already are committed to not harming ships that aren't serving the US and Israel.

BUT ships of all types and origins aren't taking the chance & want a clear plan.

This morning we were greeted by videos shot by the first tanker crew to take Trump's advice... showing the crew clinging to life rafts watching the smoking wreck of their ship.

The US base in Fujairah, UAE was seen being struck around 1am on March 11th, which has become routine.

Video filmed by sailors showed 4-6 US missile interceptors missing the incoming Iranian missile before it struck the base.

Costing a minimum of $16M in failed interceptors.

Rumours of THAAD missile defense systems being withdrawn from South Korea were confirmed this week by both South Korean and US media.

These billion dollar systems are being moved to better protect US assets near Iran to replace the depleted / destroyed systems originally tasked to the US Middle East strategy.
