I made this Solarpunk playlist for times like these. There are two playlists. This is the longer one for shuffling. (The other is short enough for 1-2 listening sessions and tells a mood story in order.)
Tracks span the moods from political to apocalyptic, from love of nature to learning to cope, from sentiments of rebellion to outright calls to action, from community building to emotional healing. It is cathartic, sad, hopeful, and inspiring.
Since this playlist contains many different moods to offer emotional support to those in this movement, from doomy catharsis to firey protest anthems to self-care to dreaming about a better future, I do find myself skipping shuffled tracks that don't fit the vibe I need at the moment. I'll need those other songs when I'm ready.
