So glad to see this being organized. Like "howling" during the shutdowns of the pandemic, this could be a simple, connecting, peaceful moment. That could turn into a movement.

This is a social experiment that I want to see go viral because of its simplicity.

I made this Solarpunk playlist for times like these. There are two playlists. This is the longer one for shuffling. (The other is short enough for 1-2 listening sessions and tells a mood story in order.)

Tracks span the moods from political to apocalyptic, from love of nature to learning to cope, from sentiments of rebellion to outright calls to action, from community building to emotional healing. It is cathartic, sad, hopeful, and inspiring.

My next novel will be a #Solarpunk one about a community of shipwrights building a big wooden cargo ship of sail in the 25th century CE, 400 years after the collapse of fossil-fuelled capitalist civilisation. Wooden boatbuilding I know, but the pre-industrial-revolution way with all hand tools etc. is going to be a big research job. Delicious! :)
