@JEmphatically I feel like at the very least banning the use of "liberal", "conservative", and "communist" in party names is like banning the words "pizza" "donair" and "sandwich" in restaurant names.

Because we are all concerned about a second liberal party springing into action...

So, this is a broad restriction to protect the United Conservative Party from fracturing into tiny pieces.

They say it's about the Longest Ballot protest but I don't see how. The names can still be added, as long as they identify as Independent.
