HOW PETTY.

The UCP doesn't want to debate Private Members' Bills this afternoon (normal practice for Monday sittings), so Man-Child Schow moved to adjourn until 7:30 this evening.

They're trying every trick to kill the Private Members' Bills.

It's definitely now a thing for governments to name bills (or at least characterize them) as the exact opposite of what they are.

Case in point, the "Restoring confidence in democratic processes" announcement today by Alberta.

Restoring confidence in democratic processes

The Justice Statutes Amendment Act, 2025, amends legislation to protect election integrity and ensure Albertans receive clear, user-friendly ballots on election day.

Everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that most First Nations oppose the Pathways CCS project.

The awkward video that's out there on social media of the PM taking very few questions while there were Chiefs still lined up to ask questions shows Chief Kelsey Jacko shouting because his microphone was cut off.

Jacko is from Cold Lake First Nations, who opposes the project. You may recall that the project was exempted from an environmental impact assessment by the federal government.

The frustration is palpable.
