I'm transfemme nonbinary for reference. In particular, I need a few things that parents can use to explain transness and nonbinary identity to a nine-year-old child. All help is super appreciated. There is no way in #PeerTube to essentially 'boost' (retweet) a video from another instance, is there?

I want people to be able to go to my PeerTube instance and watch a video that I recommended without leaving my instance but all likes and comments should obviously go to the original source. (And the video itself should obviously be streamed from the original source as well.)

Hallo, I posted this a couple of days ago - without any resonance, so I try again.

I encountered a problem that posts from newer mastodon version, with #CW in text and media, don’t hide media properly (text is hidden), on instances running older versions/ hybrid.

I suppose this is a known problem on several instances.

It should have been an issue in the community, and if there are any tips I’d be grateful to learn. Thank you.

My current 'Plus' plan on Vimeo is around £110 ($130) for a year with up to 200GB of storage/hosting. For some videos, I designate them as 'private' except for embedding on my site.

Could I achieve something similar with Peertube without having to worry about any of the technical side of things like hosting etc?

I wouldn't mind paying slightly more, but not multiples of what I currently have with Vimeo.
