I'm transfemme nonbinary for reference. In particular, I need a few things that parents can use to explain transness and nonbinary identity to a nine-year-old child. All help is super appreciated. 5 years ago today I placed a needle against my thigh, whispered a small prayer, and pushed down the plunger. It’s been a wild ride since, but I’ve never regretted that decision for a moment.

An overweight white guy "with a history of mental illness" managed to get his hands on an #AR15 and 27 rounds of ammunition, and apparently intended to open fire inside #Atlanta International Airport.

He wasn't #black, #gay, #trans, a #DragQueen or an #Illegal.
Unlikely a #Democrat or #Liberal.
And his name was "Billy Joe".

He was caught before he could commit his crime b/c his family called the police who issued a #BOLO.

At this time, there is no known motive.

A transgender woman tooted 2-3 days ago that people don’t send flowers to trans women, and not doing so sends a message that they’re not thought of as real women. She encouraged family and friends of trans women to send them flowers. The toot was nicely composed and I regret not boosting it right away. Now I cannot find it again. I want to show my wife.
