The distinctive roof of the former Anderston Kelvingrove Parish Church in Glasgow or, as it is more commonly known locally, the Pyramid. It was designed by Honeyman, Jack and Robertson and was built in the 1960s. It's now a community space.

I love these Heath Robinsonesque extensions you occasionally see bolted to an upper floor of the rear facade of Glasgow buildings. You can just imagine the conversation with the builder:

'And we'll knock through this wall to give you more space in the bathroom.'
'But that's the outside wall ...'
'So?'
'This is a 2nd floor flat ...'
'Nae bother!'
