I'm watching videos of opera arias and they are reminding me of the experience of performing live as a singer and how at the end of a challenging piece, and especially at the end of a challenging show or set, there's an exhilarating sensation similar to sprinting for a finish line because you no longer have to pace yourself and you can truly give it everything you've got. One of the best feelings in the world.
