@TCMuffin EU can get mussels from Killary Ford in Co Mayo/Galway and other places - not so much green algae and sewage pollution to worry about; and definitely none of the #Brexit paperwork. Vehicles can go straight from Ireland to many parts of the EU via Wexford, Dublin or Cork ferries.

The #UK’s borders chief was unable to answer when asked by MPs to name any way in which #Brexit has helped “control our borders”.

#MartinHewitt, the new #BorderSecurity commander, said he did “not immediately” have an answer to the question.
