The AWS outage just shows that you don't have to have accounts with Amazon (or Google, or Microsoft, or Meta) for them to digitally fuck you up.
We need the EU and the UK to start thinking seriously about digital sovereignty, to be independent of US Big Tech, and to be self-reliant as soon as possible.
