In #Minnesota, citizens require have a permit to legally carry a #handgun in public, acc/to the Minnesota Dept of #PublicSafety.
The permit does not require the weapon to be concealed & it also serves as a permit to purchase a #firearm, meaning holders don’t need a separate purchase permit. Once issued, the permit is valid for 5 years & can be renewed.
Interesting how the #SecondAmendment folks suddenly say carrying a gun is grounds for law enforcement to kill the carrier.
