One of the things record collectors know is that while a single album in its jacket doesn’t seem particularly substantive from a dimensional point of view—12.375 x 12.375-inch height and width; 1/8-inch thick: 8 ounces in weight—that quickly multiplies.
Records are generally, and preferably, stacked vertically....

I'll be mainly posting random thoughts about #nerd stuff, #TV, #movies, #games, #retro or whatever pops into my head.
Recently took part in #Inktober, didn't draw a Mastodon but I did do a baby Armadillo.
As others said, a film starring a mostly Black cast *and* a horror film (a genre the Academy views as "not best picture" material, despite "thrillers" like "Silence of the Lambs" winning such), and up against the type of film Hollywood (at least) loves seemed like a stretch for best picture? 🤷♂️

Hitmen Ken, Ray are in Bruges to cool their heels after a job.
Eventually main man Harry comes and things get dark. Very dark.
The slow-paced, well scripted, character-driven, violent, and often subtly funny plot has plenty of twists.
The Agfa chrome palette is beautiful, the cinematography skillful.
It’s too bad that the women characters are either bimbos or cyphers and Ray's character flip seems so artificial.
And then there are the Canadians. Lol.
