This was the last album the band made with Peter Gabriel. There was a lot of friction during the recording sessions, which was one of the main reasons he left the band. Both he and Phil Collins consider this album the best of that Genesis period.

A bit of an obscure one, from an all-female post-punk band from Vancouver.

Self described as "Five politically conscious people who conduct ourselves in a politically conscious way”, this 6-song E.P. is really great.

Touches of Patti Smith, Television, Suburban Lawns, Slits, Au Pairs and about ten other things I can’t quite put my finger on.

As politically charged as they were, there’s a #psychedelic quirk to some of these songs, and dare I say, some are close to danceable.

Only 500 of these were pressed, so they’re not too common, but if you have a way to hear it; physically, streaming or otherwise, please do.
Pretty interesting stuff.
